Upward Casting Copper Busbar Crystallizer

The Core of Every Casting Line — Invention-Patented Crystallizer

Mivo patented crystallizer — upward casting copper busbar
Crystallizer assembly detail — S-type water channel section
Crystallizer lower copper block with graphite mold connection
Multi-strand crystallizer installation on casting line
Copper busbar output from upward casting crystallizer
Crystallizer cooling circuit — water inlet/outlet ports

Product Overview

The Mivo crystallizer is the core component of an upward continuous casting line — and the subject of our national invention patent. Its patented S-type water channel geometry, dual-section structure, and integrated graphite mold connection are what differentiate our equipment from conventional designs.

At the same cross-section width, an upward casting crystallizer produces higher output than a horizontal crystallizer. Copper strip billet produced by the upward method has superior microstructural properties to horizontally cast billet — and the crystallizer design is the critical factor.

Invention Patent — Upward Casting Copper Strip Billet Crystallizer and Casting Method

Our patented crystallizer achieves 120 mm/min at 220×12 mm cross-section — double the 60 mm/min standard of conventional designs — while producing equiaxed grain structure with uniform grain size for higher yield and easier downstream processing.
